India signs 10-year contract to operate Iran's key Chabahar Port

India signed a historic deal with Iran that allows operational control over Chabahar Port for 10 years. India and Iran signed the contract on Monday for the operation of a terminal at the strategically important Chabahar Port in Iran. The move is expected to boost regional connectivity as well as trade ties.
