India and Seychelles have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for starting UPI in Seychelles. PM Narendra Modi welcomed the move, saying, "We believe that digital technology is an effective means to bridge the distance between our two countries. We'll share India's successful experiences in digital public infrastructure with Seychelles." PM Modi is on a three-day visit to the country.
