India slams Pakistan for raising Kashmir issue at UN

India criticised Pakistan’s move to raise the issue of Jammu and Kashmir at a UN Security Council meeting. “Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is a matter strictly internal to India. It has always been, is, and will remain so,” Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish said. Harish called Pakistan’s remarks unwarranted and accused the country of politicising the forum.
