India starts producing world's most expensive coffee
An Indian firm in Karnataka's Coorg has started producing the world's most expensive coffee that is made from the poop of civet cats. The cat is fed coffee cherries after which its faeces are processed and sold as Civet coffee for ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per kg abroad. Coorg Consolidated Commodities is selling the coffee for ₹8,000 per kg in India.
