India stayed on growth path despite global shocks: Sitharaman
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said India absorbed four years of global shocks without losing its growth momentum, supported by fiscal discipline, infrastructure spending, banking reforms and improved welfare delivery. She said resilience meant absorbing external shocks while retaining room to respond. India's real GDP grew 7.8% in Q1 FY27, while inflation stood at 4.82% in August.
