India strongly condemns vandalism of Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Australia, seeks action

India has strongly condemned the vandalisation and removal of the Mahatma Gandhi statue located at the Australian Indian Community Centre in Melbourne by unidentified people. "We've strongly raised the matter with the Australian authorities and urged them to take immediate action and to recover the missing statue," the MEA said in a statement.
