India summons Iranian diplomats after Indian sailor killed in strikes on tankers in Hormuz

India has summoned Iran’s Deputy Ambassador to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) over the killing of an Indian seafarer after Iranian cruise missiles struck two UAE-owned tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The tankers were struck while transiting the southern passage of the Strait of Hormuz. Eight others were also injured in the attack.
