India supplies 60% of vaccines used worldwide: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said India produces and supplies 60% of the vaccines that are used worldwide. Launching the book 'India's Vaccine Growth Story' by Sajjan Singh Yadav, Additional Secretary, Expenditure Department, Sitharaman added that India has made remarkable contribution in vaccinating the world. She also praised India for producing COVID-19 vaccines even in the lockdown.
