India supports UAE-led resolution at UN's IMO against Iran's closure of Strait of Hormuz

India backed a UAE-led resolution at UN's International Maritime Organisation which "strongly condemned Iranian threats and attacks against vessels and purported closure of Strait of Hormuz". The resolution was co-sponsored by over 115 member states, the most co-sponsors in IMO's history. Iran has allowed multiple Indian vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
