India surpasses last CWG's medal tally, reaches its 3rd best ever

With an overall tally of 66 medals including 26 golds at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, the Indian contingent has surpassed the medal tally from the last edition of the Games in Glasgow in 2014. The 2018 Games also became India's third best outing ever in the event's history. Over the 11-day course, Indian athletes set 11 CWG records cumulatively.
