India targets FTAs with Canada, Mexico and Brazil in next 6 months

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said India aims to conclude free trade agreement negotiations with Canada, Mexico and Brazil within the next six months. An Indian delegation will visit Canada on July 6 for the next round of talks. He also said the India-New Zealand FTA is expected to become operational in 2026.
