India targets full HIV control by Dec 1, 2027 under AIDS Safeguard

India aims to achieve full HIV control by December 1, 2027, under the Mission AIDS Safeguard initiative. In Guwahati, NACO DG Rakesh Gupta highlighted progress in 60 high-priority North-East districts. District-level action plans, 11 regional workshops, and strategies targeting the 95-95-99 goals will strengthen local HIV management and ensure timely ART and viral suppression.
