India opened their women's hockey campaign at Asian Games 2026 with a 19-0 thrashing of Uzbekistan in Pool B. Deepika scored eight goals for India in the match, while Ishika netted a hat-trick. Navneet Kaur and Lalthantluangi scored two goals each. India will next face Indonesia on Monday.
