India to ban import of goods made using forced labour

India has amended its Foreign Trade Policy to ban the import of goods produced using forced labour. According to a notification by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the agency can investigate and recommend bans on goods produced using forced labour. This comes days after India asked the US to reconsider a proposed 12.5% tariff linked to forced labour allegations.
