India to begin trading in its domestic carbon market by July

India will begin formal trading in its domestic carbon market within next four months, Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said. Carbon market trading is a system in which countries or companies buy and sell permits or credits that authorise them to emit a specific amount of carbon dioxide.
