India to buy 5 more S-400 systems from Russia after Op Sindoor performance: Report

India is set to acquire five additional squadrons of the S-400 Sudarshan long-range air defence missile system from Russia. The Defence Ministry will soon take up the Indian Air Force's proposal for approval, ANI reported. The system proved its mettle during Operation Sindoor, where it achieved the longest-ever air kill by hitting a Pakistani airborne target over 300 km away.
