India to face Brazil in historic football match in Kolkata on October 3

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Thursday announced that Brazil’s senior men’s national team will face India in an international friendly match in Kolkata on October 3, 2026. The match will be played at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. Ranked fifth in the world, Brazil will be the highest-ranked opposition India have faced since FIFA introduced its rankings in 1992.
