India to have 270 million 5G subscribers by year-end: Ericsson

India will have 270 million 5G subscribers by end of 2024, Ericsson said. This will account for 23% of the total mobile subscriptions in the country, Ericsson added in its mobility report. India had 110-120 million 5G subscribers in the previous year. 4G subscriptions will decline from 640 million in 2024 to 240 million in 2030, the report added.
