Indian scientists are about to enter one of the world's biggest research collaborations as India and the European Union have concluded talks on joining the €93.5 billion EU research and innovation programme. The deal is expected to take effect in January 2027 once it is signed by both sides. Indian organisations will be able to lead multinational projects under it.
