India to manufacture trains with 350 kmph speed by 2030

India will manufacture bullet trains with a design speed of 350 kmph by 2030 with the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project. The Union Cabinet has approved the ₹2 lakh crore cost of the project, while the railway ministry has initiated the process to develop the B35 trains. The trains will rival Japan's next-generation E10 trains, scheduled for production the same year.
