India to seek return of the Kohinoor diamond from Britain: Telegraph report

India will launch a diplomatic campaign to bring back the Kohinoor diamond and thousands of other colonial artefacts from the UK, British daily The Telegraph has reported. The 105-carat diamond was taken by the East India Company and presented to Queen Victoria. Indian officials are planning "the largest repatriation claim faced by the UK", the report said.
