India to seek vessel-by-vessel clearance from Iran for ships using Strait of Hormuz: Report

The Indian government will seek permission for each of its ships that cross the Strait of Hormuz amid the Middle East war, Moneycontrol reported, citing a government official. This indicates that India may not have a blanket clearance from Iran for the safe passage of its ships. This comes after at least three Indian oil tankers crossed the Strait.
