India up 6 spots to 38 on World Bank's Logistics Performance Index

India has ranked 38th among 139 countries on the World Bank's Logistics Performance Index (LPI) 2023. This is six spots up from the 44th rank obtained by India in 2018, when the last report was published. "Since 2015...India has invested in trade-related soft and hard infrastructure connecting port gateways...to the economic poles in the hinterland," the latest report noted.
