India-US trade has potential to reach $500 billion: Hardeep Puri

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said the bilateral trade between India and the US has the potential to reach $500 billion from the current $200 billion. This could be driven by the hydrocarbon trade between the two countries, which reached $13.6 billion in FY24, Puri said. The US is now India's sixth largest energy trade partner, he added.
