India win gold medal in Chess Olympiad for the first time in history

India have bagged gold medal in Chess Olympiad for the first time in history. The Indian men's team, comprising Arjun Erigaisi, Gukesh D, R Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Gujrathi, P Harikrishna and Srinath Narayanan (captain), bagged gold in Open category at 45th Chess Olympiad in Hungary's Budapest. India had bagged bronze in Open category in 44th Chess Olympiad.
