India win their 5th gold medal at CWG 2026 as Harsh Singh wins historic judo gold

Indian judoka Harsh Singh created history by winning men's 60kg gold at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026. He defeated Australia's Joshua Katz in the final to become the first Indian man to win a CWG judo title. Harsh's triumph came minutes after Asmita Dey became India's first CWG judo gold medallist. Notably, Harsh clinched India's fifth gold medal at CWG 2026.
