India win their Champions Trophy opener, beat Bangladesh for 11th time in a row at ICC events

India defeated Bangladesh by six wickets in their Champions Trophy 2025 opener in Dubai. Bangladesh, who were 35/5 at one stage, were bowled out for 228 in 49.4 overs. India chased down the target in 46.3 overs, driven by Shubman Gill's 101*(129). India have now beaten Bangladesh 11 times in a row in ICC events.
