India win their first individual gold medal at Asian Games 2026

Shooter Neeru Dhanda won India's first individual gold medal at Asian Games 2026 after clinching the women's trap title on Tuesday. India's previous four gold medals at the ongoing Games had come in team or mixed-team events. Earlier in the day, Neeru had also helped India win silver in the women's trap team event alongside Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer.
