India Women become 1st women's cricket team to be nominated for Laureus award

India Women became the first women's cricket team to be nominated for the Laureus World Team of the Year Award. The nomination came months after the team's first-ever ICC Women's Cricket World Cup win in 2025. Laureus award honours the most inspirational sporting achievements of the year. England women's football team and four other teams have been shortlisted alongside India.
