India-born judge Moxila Upadhyaya presides over Trump's appearance in court

An Indian American judge presided over the appearance of former US President Donald Trump in a federal courthouse in downtown Washington DC. Moxila A Upadhyaya was appointed as a US Magistrate Judge on September 7, 2022. Born in Gujarat and raised near Kansas City, Upadhyaya received her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law.
