IndiaMART, Justdial under probe for selling hazardous substances

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) initiated regulatory action against the unauthorised online sale and advertisement of hazardous chemicals and explosive substances on digital platforms. The regulator has issued notices to IndiaMART, Justdial, Sigma-Aldrich India, Dial4Trade and ExportersIndia. The notices pertain to products such as ammonium nitrate, gunpowder, and picric acid.
