Indian-American donors give 4:1 funding edge to Republicans in US midterms

Indian-American business leaders and entrepreneurs have donated over $15.8 million to Republican Party-linked funds since 2025, while Democrats received roughly $3.7 million, giving US President Donald Trump's party a 4:1 funding edge ahead of midterms, an HT analysis said. Venture capitalist Asha Jadeja Motwani was the biggest Indian-American Republican donor, contributing around $5.9 million.
