Indian-American politician Kshama denied Indian visa, Consulate calls her 'trespasser'

Kshama Sawant, an Indian-origin former Seattle City Council member, alleged she was denied an emergency visa by the Indian consulate for visiting her ailing mother. She claimed she was put on the Indian government's "reject list" because she opposed CAA and NRC. Meanwhile, Indian consulate said it would initiate action against trespassers who were engaged in "threatening behaviour towards staff".
