Indian American Ravi Chaudhary appointed US Air Force's Assistant Secretary

Ravi Chaudhary has been confirmed as the first Indian American Assistant Secretary of Defense for the US Air Force. The post is reportedly among the top civilian positions in the Pentagon. The Senate voted 65-29 in favour of the former Air Force officer, who has also served as a Senior Executive in the US Department of Transportation.
