Indian Army implements common uniform for officers of Brigadier rank & above

All Indian Army officers of the rank of Brigadier, Major General, Lieutenant General and General will wear berets of the same colour, common badges of rank, a common belt buckle and a common pattern of shoes. Use of shoulder flashes like 'Special Forces' will be discontinued. "It'll reinforce the Army's character to be a fair and equitable organisation," officials said.
