Indian Army's JCO allegedly maltreated by Bihar police

On April 9, 2025, Bihar Police allegedly arrested and beat an Indian Army JCO and his wife at their home. The GOC of the local Army formation met DG Police, Bihar, who immediately suspended the SHO and ordered an IG-level inquiry. The DGP of Bihar has assured full cooperation to take action against the culprits.
