Indian Army team awarded gold in UK patrol exercise
An 8-member team of Indian Army's 2nd Battalion of 8 Gorkha Rifles was awarded a gold medal at the Cambrian Patrol organised by the British Army. Participants in the Cambrian Patrol, one of the world's most gruelling military exercises, have to cover a 55-kilometre course in less than 48 hours. First-time entrant Kosovo was also awarded a gold medal.
