Indian Army to procure 170 Armoured Recovery Vehicles

The Indian Army on Tuesday initiated the process to procure 170 Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARVs). The ARVs will be procured under the framework of the 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives, officials said. According to the Request for Information (RFI), the ARVs should be capable of operating in diverse terrains, including mountainous regions.
