Indian batters score quicker than overseas cricketers for 1st time in an IPL season

IPL 2026 recorded the highest batting strike rate in tournament history at 156.34. It was also the first IPL season where Indian batters scored quicker than overseas batters, striking at 157.10 compared to overseas players' 154.71. Among Indians, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had the best strike rate at 237.30, while Finn Allen led overseas batters with 214.11 overall.
