Indian b'ball captain 1st Indian to sign for an Aussie team

The captain of the Indian basketball team, Amritpal Singh, became the first Indian player to be picked up by an Australian National Basketball League team, after signing for the Sydney Kings. Singh was a part of Kings' pre-season tournament where he scored 17 points and 16 rebounds in the tournament's championship match.
