Indian-born cheetah gives birth to 4 cubs in Kuno National Park
An Indian-born cheetah, KGP-2, gave birth to four cubs in Kuno National Park, marking the first wild birth by a second-generation cheetah since Project Cheetah began. "This is a significant step toward achieving the core objectives of the project, survival and breeding under natural conditions," Union Minister Bhupender Yadav said. India's total cheetah population has now climbed to 57.
