Indian consulate praises US authorities for foiling temple attack

The Consulate General of India in Chicago praised the timely action of US authorities in foiling an attack on a Hindu temple by 19-year-old Alexandros Paporakis. "We are in touch with members of the Indian diaspora and are closely monitoring developments," the Consulate added. Paporakis allegedly planned to "kill a significant number of Indians" using a modified AR-style rifle.
