Indian diaspora contributes $37 billion to NZ's economy each year: NZ PM
New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon said the Indian diaspora has enriched the country economically, socially and culturally. “Without you, we simply wouldn’t be the New Zealand we are today,” he said. Luxon added that the nearly 3,30,000-strong Kiwi Indian community works incredibly hard, is better educated, and contributes about $37 billion to New Zealand’s economy every year.
