Indian economy expected to grow 5-fold by 2040: PM Modi

Speaking at the inauguration of Petrotech-2016 in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that India's economy is expected to grow five-fold by 2040. "While global economy goes through uncertainty, India has shown tremendous resilience. FDI is at the highest," PM Modi added. He further said growth is expected in sectors like manufacturing, transport and civil aviation.
