Indian Embassy issues advisory for Indian nationals travelling to Thailand

From September 15, 2026, Indian ordinary passport holders travelling to Thailand will be allowed to enter without visa and stay for up to 30 days. The change cuts visa-free stay from the earlier 60 days. The Indian Embassy in Thailand has advised Indian travellers to carry passport valid for at least six months, confirmed return tickets, hotel bookings and itinerary.
