Indian film Boong nominated in children’s & family category at BAFTA 2026

Indian film Boong has been nominated for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) 2026 Award in the Best Children’s and Family Film category. The Manipuri-language film, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, is written and directed by Lakshmipriya Devi. Gugun Kipgen and Bala Hijam play the lead roles in the movie.
