Indian filmmaker Arfat Sheikh detained by US' ICE released after 2 weeks

Indian filmmaker Arfat Sheikh, who was detained by US' Immigration and Customs Enforcement, was released on bond on Thursday after two weeks of detention. Filmmaker Tara Dorabji, who was accompanying him, said that ICE agents came in plain clothes and arrested him without a warrant despite immigration paperwork. The government said that Sheikh had "illegally overstayed his lawful admittance".
