Film Money Global and CineNow are developing funds that would finance Indian films through portfolios, SPVs and intellectual property rights. CineNow plans a ₹1,300 crore fund covering production, technology and IP monetisation. The model aims to reduce single-film risk, though uncertain box office returns and investor exits remain key challenges.
