Indian food brand to set up saffron processing facility in UAE

An Indian multinational food brand plans to set up its saffron processing facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in the UAE. This will be the largest saffron processing facilities in the GCC. The facility, set to start operations in March 2025, will initially process 30MT saffron, with plans to scale up to 100MT over the next five years.
