Indian govt declares state mourning on Jan 13 over Oman Sultan's demise

The Indian government has declared a state mourning on January 13 over the demise of Oman's Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the national flag will be flown at half-mast and no official programmes will be held on that day. Qaboos passed away at the age of 79.
